Possibility for the managment to change the content rating of RP
It could be very nice for the managment to be able to change the content rating of an RP which does not suit to the original rating, and protect young people on the websites without delating the whole RP.
Flag Homework for Teachers/ATs
As a student grading, or as a teacher/AT keeping an eye on their subject, it can sometimes be frustrating if you come across a piece of work that should be brought to the attention of a teacher immediately, rather than relying on the Varying Grade system for the work to be flagged. For example, if a user has written an offensive piece of work or one that breaks site rules, and is given the same grade by all users, the students grading may have no way of knowing who it is that has done this work, nor will it come to the teacher's attention, and thus that user cannot be watched or punished.
A "Flag for Teacher's Attention" button with reasoning could aid this.
A Password for the Prefects' Bathroom
I think it would be a good idea that - just like in books - the Bathroom at the 3rd floor be blocked by a password.
I mean for example, you want to go inside, you click on the link and it asks you for the password. If you don't have it, you can't go inside.
The Prefects' Chef would be the one which choose and change it sometimes (maybe once a year ?) and give it to the Prefects and the Quidditch Captains (once again, just like in the books).
Obsviously it doesn't become a forbbiden zone, because if they want, "normal" Students could totally obtain the password from their friends (or from the best marketers, who knows ?).
Thanks for reading me ! And sorry for my bad english :)
A Homework word count!
Well I'm on world of Walkers and we have a minimum word count for homework. I like it and it's a really good rule, but I always have to count those 100/200 words myself or use another site for it. I thought, maybe, we could have a word count like in a lower corner somewhere which tells you howmany words you still need to write before passing that minimum word-rule.
It's just an idea, but I would make making homework much easier, since I wont have to use another site to count my words! :D
It could be of use in topics too, just for fun, but it would definitely help with homework!
Grading Ban
Okay, since the grading button was declined. How about a grading ban? An option teacher or the other adult staff would be able to use if they see a user that always grades wrong or however he likes or something? A small punishment where they would be able to enter the timeframe if they repeat their behaviour, they get maybe 1-3 hours grading ban and if it repeats again for a longer time.
That way people would try to make sure they grade correctly, so that they can continue to do it and get their money and points.
The Fanfic Club!
The Fanfiction Club
No Application, no user requirement, just writing!
Not enough time to join the library team and write for the site? More of a fictional writer who wants to explore the realms of WoP through their own writing? A Fanfiction club could be the answer.
Definition of Fanfiction: A piece of writing written by either an unpublished or published author of any skill level that is based off an existing book/movie ideas without taking from the original cast or descriptions (to cease copyright issues). It allows for the writers own imagination using an already existing world. In that case of WoP fan fiction, it would be written using the Harry Potter Universe as a guideline to create your very own plot.
Overview of idea: This would be a club which users can apply for and write their fan-fiction within, seeking the support and help of other users on the site. It would be a friendly environment allowing for writers of all ages to better their skills and discover new content. The fan fiction would have to apply to certain rules, but would generally be a free area for those wanting to share their own stories with the community of WoP.
Benefits of a Fanfic. Club!
- It allows for an In sight area for monitored content to be posted.
- Users who wish to write together can create topics to plan out their own stories before sharing them with other users.
- As in normal clubs, there could be several different sections: Collaborations, Finished Work, Advice. Allowing for users to find what they want from the club. E.g- Collaborations could be for advertising of wishing to write with someone else, finished work is where you can share you actual pieces (creating a topic and posting chapters as you go) and Advice could be helping those through pesky writers block!
- It would allow users to have a safe place where they feel unjudged by sharing their work.
There will be no official club for now, but users can create clubs themselves now, so go ahead :)
Marauder's Map Only Using Male Descriptors
Marauder's Map shows all users, regardless of gender, as viewing "his" profile/backstory/etc
A icon when it`s someones birthday
It would be really cool, if an icon (maybe a cake) would pop up next to the username when a user has their birthday. It would give other users the opportunity to wish them a happy birthday and maybe give them a present.
Choose what you see on the front page
So. As most of you know mobile-only allows you to see the first 100 posts on the front page which is kind of annoying and its also hard to see what people have posted when the front page is spammed with people accepting friend requests and people opening cards!
So my idea is you can censor what you see on the front page and what you dont
For example, you can say select all besides friend requests, or only friend requests, or all besides cards, friend requests and achievements. Something like that which you are able to change in settings.
Thats all :P
Sum up Quidditch points
For Quidditch players and fans, it would be better arranged if the actual points for each team were added together, in addition to only showing the outcomes of each game. At the moment one has to sum up the points of every game, to know how many quidditch points each house has.
