Yes, that sounds absolutely perfect.

I agree with this. There's already the rule that the pets buyable in the Magic Menagerie are the ones you may have in Hogwarts and all other pets may only be owned by graduates, so adding them to the Magic Menagerie would mean they would be allowed in Hogwarts, which would be very unrealistic in the setting the students are in. They also weren't allowed to be brought as a pet to the school in the series.

Perhaps we could add in a calculator that will tell us how much multiple items (or multiple of one item) will cost? It's hard trying to calculate it otherwise.

Although I can see why people oppose this idea, I would actually like this idea. I understand that it's an AT's job to know how to grade correctly, but I have had a problem with an AT grading my assignments twice and there was nothing I could do to get the points and galleons back and get the grade corrected.

First time, I was given an EE because the AT said the teacher prefered more detail, but all requirements had been met. They had been a new AT and after speaking with the teacher, they spoke with them and instructed them that they couldn't downgrade for detail, but who knows if that AT did that to other students before I said something. New ATs are hired pretty often (compared to other jobs) and they don't always know that isn't alright.

Second time, I mistyped my year and was given a Troll because the AT believed I submitted the wrong year, though it still met all requirements.

In both cases, the teachers agreed I deserved an Outstanding, but because it had been graded by an AT, the grade was final and could not be changed.

I'm not saying that the ATs need to be punished because there would be no point in that, but I'm also an AT, and I know for a fact that I'm not perfect and that there is room for error. A way for a student to send in a complaint just like every other grade would be highly appreciated.

They lose the points they had earned for grading the assignment (ex. They started at 20 points, earned 5 more for grading and are at 25, then after they were punished, they lose the 5 they earned and go down to 20).

This suggestion is saying that rather than only taking away their original reward, they take away 10 points as the punishment (ex. They started at 20 points, earned 5 more for grading and are at 25, then after they were punished, they lose the 5 they earned, plus an additional 5 for grading incorrectly, taking them down to 15 points.)

The management can change the box title and the contents in the box. On other sites it's been used for events going on, site announcements (updates and such), and simple positive reminders.

Perhaps adding in names and speaking down upon specific users isn't the best way to go about your message, though I do understand your frustration.

I feel like this was more of a rant however than something to either support or explain why this suggestion isn't helpful.

This issue has now been fixed. If you are still having problems, please send an IM to Angela Blackbourn and she can help you further.

Once you've graduated, you can still get normal "student" jobs such as journalists.

If they wish to have a job that isn't one of the jobs already on site, they can add it to their Profile Text and use it in RP.
