The Daily Prophet is not located in the Ministry either. You don't have to really look at the category it is in. Just look at the newspaper's office in the in universe sense. It wouldn't make sense to split the two up, because the location aren't exactly the most visited, so splitting them up further makes no sense.

The Ministry category was just made because both things in there has something to do with office. The overall category is also The World Outside.

I agree that if the signature is minimalistic, then it is less intrusive in less and more important owls. I would just get annoyed about seeing a button under the owl everytime, because I know I wouldn't use it, as my signatures are simple and doesn't intrude much. I understand that people want really pretty and elaborate ones, but if you have to turn it off often, it doesn't make sense to have a wildly intrusive and elaborate signature.

I feel like locking this away by a status instead of having your character learn the ability is a bit eh. In comparison to all the other statuses, this doesn't really fit as everything is magical abilities. Barty Crouch Sr. knew for example 50-150 languages himself. So I think as long as it makes sense ingame wise, then it shouldn't be farfetched to know mermish.

Mention this to your MoM, because this is very site specific

These different post grad classes are differenton each site, so it might be a good idea to suggest it to your HM and MoM instead, so they see it.

I think it is mainly about being able to sort your friendlist better. Some people do it differently and this is how she wants to do it, so I don't see a problem with suggesting it.
