I appreciate all of your thoughts on my idea, but I do not appreciate the notion that I (or other people who hasn't won) shouldn't be a hardworking person when it comes to the competitions. But I really can see where you come from with your thought upon this idea and your critisism of it.

On the site I am on, we have at least 1 year between the status contests(but that is only this year. we had one i 2018, 2020 and 2021) :D It is not only a matter of "wanting to win" it is to make it accessible in a new way. People who already have the status would of course keep it - because realism with this kind of thing is hard, then we should change a lot of things, if it should fit the books percentage of X number of items.

I am def not saying that the status competitions on the sites doesn't take effort and time, this isn't a "they don't matter" thing, it is a "This will keep it not normal/easy/something everyone can be" thing. :D
And even tho everyone gets a chance to be an animagus with the status competitions, they will have to wait for there to be a competition and that can be with several IRL years between and is a competition between users, this will be something you can do whenever YOU have the time, not when there's made a competition. But it does give more people a chance to try because it is not ONE competition with ONE winner, which is also why it should be more difficult to gain

the conditions I am setting here is only an example and is not set in stone - as I am obviously not the one making the decisions :D 

I personally would love for the chance to get a status, but when the possibilty is once every second IRL year, and animagus is something you IG realistically could be if you trained, I would love for that to be a thing I could play with without having to wait for a competition, where the chance of getting it is slim because 30 people is fighting for the same thing - But I have deep and greatest respect for those of you who have won one. I myself is simply not that lucky.

the people who had the cloak status on the danish site for example, could choose a new status instead. So this could happen for this one too

I would still love to be able to duel on WoP!

I don't mean it in an "I have earned 120 points this year" way, more in a way to make it easier to play on the whole points system. In the books it is a big thing when your house lose or gain points, and they seem to kind of know who is responsible for both - as when Neville don't want the trio to leave in the middle of the night and cost them housepoints. So it is more a representation of your character: Can people say that the IG blame them for losing points or be proud of them for gaining points to the house. 
I only think of it as a fun way to spice the In-Game realism og way to play on and with each other, up :D But not as a way that they IG def know how many points they have or have lost (but to be honest, some people would probably count it xD)
Also a fun way to make it visual when you have a topic or wall-topic with a teacher and get awarded og reducted points

I am talking about IN-Game time. If you set the time in your topic to be in the middle of the night :D

I think this would be great, but that you only should be able to find money again (as you can lose them with peeves by clicking around) if you have the niffler pet
