You can use the 8+ areas in the world outside for weddings, there you can design your own location in a topic. There is no seperate area needed.

That is a great idea, you should tell that your plotteam-leader as they are the ones who think about such scenarios for the sites! 

Is this still an issue? On the German site payment was not possible for about one day since the payment provider has been changed, but now it should work again.
