This is a great idea!

I don't think this is a good idea. When you start out, you have 500 gold. That's usually more than enough for the classes you need. If the new user reads the beginners' guide first, they should know what to do. Also, they can always ask questions.

This is a great idea! Some people are inactive forever and it gets annoying. An IRL year is reasonable.

This is a good idea, but the 2 other types of money besides the main one make up the main one.

This is an awesome idea! Once I bought a wand that wasn't for my house. It was very expensive and I had to throw it away. It would've been great it I could've gotten some money back.
