Oh, I respectfully disagree with that perspective. Such differences in management can indeed lead to challenges.

Having worked in management for many years, I have observed a gradual reduction in my workload with each change to the rights.

Previously, I would dedicate several hours each day to site-related tasks. However, my current involvement is significantly less, amounting to approximately 1-2 hours per week.

In my opinion, it is acceptable for the majority of the work to be handled by the MoM/HM. It appears that management is generally not considered trustworthy enough to handle certain responsibilities.

As a member of management, I believe it is important to focus on tasks that are essential to the role and that bring personal enjoyment. and not more.

As long as the MoM/HM do not advocate for significantly more rights for management, it can be assumed that they are willing to undertake this additional work.

In the event of an absolute emergency and the absence of a response from the MoM/HM, it may be necessary to directly contact the authorities. After all, cybercrime is a serious offense that should be addressed by law enforcement in most countries.

Although it may initially sound harsh, the recent policies implemented by website operators leave little room for alternative responses.

Fewer rights entail less responsibility, reduced workload, and diminished commitment.

Granting additional rights to individuals may not be beneficial and could potentially lead to decreased motivation. Moreover, it could result in shifting the problem to a different area.

Update:

First of all, here is a summary of my wishes:
- The BG team should get access to the backgroundstory tool - DONE (thanks!)
- it should be possible to read the sent confirmations and rejections in the outbox. - still open
- also it should be possible to add people to these messages. - still open
- another tool that shows changes in profile texts would save the team a lot of work and time. - still open

- create a button with which you can see the code of the background story "applied" as with a code tester. - still open

This is the case on most sites. At least with us you get a small rejection. But often you can't give the reason. But a rejection saying "Sorry, I've decided on someone else. You won't get the job" should be a matter of course. But formulated in a diplomatic and friendly way.

100 % agree!!!!!

I don't know why there has to be a distinction at all. Ministers, head teachers, management and teachers all work FOR their respective sides, completely without pay. There should be a certain amount of recognition.

I would even go one step further: All positions should therefore get the full VIP package!

It is also a great pity that teachers are penalized for buying VIP. I don't understand that. The decision-makers should be happy that someone who is already working for the site without pay wants to invest additional real money. On the contrary, teachers don't get any advantages compared to normal users, but disadvantages! For example, the 500 Galleons are missing ...

Many of us have been working on the same site for 5 or more years. So the argument that you only get hired for the cheap VIP for a "short time" and then quit again is no longer valid. Even if: a person does that once and then never gets a job on a Wop/wox site again ...

Yes, it is very confusing!

I would find it very helpful to be able to set which events you want to be notified about!

It would also be better to summarize the individual events a little better.

For example: User1 and 20 other people liked your wall event.

=> nobody really needs 20 individual notifications and a red dot for each one!

Please write a message to the leader ("MoM") of your side.  Unfortunately I don't know the exact name on WoO. The person has a dark green color :)

That's not the point :) It would be better if I could copy all data with only one click. You can past it in a spreadsheet/excel :D Currently, this is not possible yet.

*push*

It would make profiling for the backstory team  (and other teams) significantly easier and more time efficient.

It is best to report such errors directly to your MoM. I have sent "our" MoM a screenshot of the post :)
