Triwizard Tournament!!!
A Triwizard Tournament with all the sits involved would be amazing!
I'd happily organise it!
Answer
A site nominates a player and they all come together. The first challenge could be an RPG contest, the second, write a backstory, the third could be like a quickfire quidditch match, where questions about HP are asked. The winner could receive a month of VIP or something like that...?
I love this idea so much and it's so well thought out! I really hope this becomes a thing
In that I have been thinking for months, only that my idea was an event in each Wop, inventing characters from the other schools.
It would be quite hard to realize it globally with a mix of all schools. Maybe instead do a triwizard tournament between the 4 houses?
we already organized one on our site between the four houses and one of the teams organized the whole story
I think Alex means we could have something between different sites. So like a battle between NL, US, EU, UK and / or France...
Well it is an interesting idea, but the time gap would gonna be a problem.
And not everyone of the non-english-speaking WoPs would understand. WoP is for people 14 years and older so the English level might be beginners to advanced skills.
On WoP DE we also have something like a Triwizard Tournement but it is not between the 4 houses but between teams having one member of each hogwarts house. It is not one house against the other but solving tasks WITH the other houses. Aiming a greater community and a better togetherness!
Well.. I already did this... On NL between the houses.
Besides, We all speak diffirent languages?

We have now discussed this, and it would leave out too many non-english-speaking users.
The only part that would be a limit is the quidditch competition idea. Any writing would be done in the language of the sites champion and would need to be put through a translator. (which can literally be done in google.)
Might be worth considering again, just toss out the quickfire quidditch idea, as that nullifies the reason given for the decline.
Especially considering the number of upvotes for the idea.
the nuances of writing disappears in translations and English would have a bigger chance, as less things needed to be translated.
actually it doesn’t unless a person was being pretty lazy in their attempt to judge.
