Keeper of Keys and Grounds

Hello!

Have you noticed that there are lots of errors in the site? There are lots of grammar hiccups and typos. Even in the rules of the site. At least.. On the Dutch site.

I suggest that WoP hires a Keeper of Keys and Grounds that can correct all the typos and errors in the site. He/she is responsible for the overall look of the site (concerning the rules and other important written artikels).

(I'm dutch. My English is terrible. Please don't judge :3)

If you know other tasks that the Keeper of Keys and Grounds can fulfill, you can comment it down below. :)

If you see an error on the site please let the Headmaster or MoM know - they keep tabs on editing these things.

This is a great idea! I love it!

Hey, lovely idea, however, as Ministers and Headmasters we tend to go through and check for mistakes in the rules etc, if you happen to see any please just send us an owl for us to correct :)

Surely it couldn't hurt for someone to have that as their primary role though? It's a large task combing through the entire site, and it would alleviate that burden from the Ministers and Headmasters so they would be freed up for more pressing issues.

As an AT on the US site, I have noticed there is quite the need for a proof reader. In fact, I would say it goes beyond just fixing mistakes around the website. There are a finite number of those mistakes, and the position would eventually become moot. However, there are many occasions during which a proof reader would be of great use, and that is when notices and important owls are being sent by Management. A Keeper of Keys and Grounds could help to rephrase any awkward structuring and keep everything grammatically sound before final sending. Obviously some things are contingent on being delivered swiftly, but many things could wait to be given a once over by someone qualified to do so. The Keeper of Keys and Grounds would likely need to be an upper Management position due to reviewing sensitive information if need be, but it would increase the professionalism of our administration and improve how they are perceived by the WoP community.

Orrrr maybe perhaps Managers could just be more aware and check there own stuff as well? :) I don't think we need a whole new manager just to check spelling.

Not everyone even esteemed managers are perfect but I do like the idea.

The problem is that it's often those roles that make the mistakes to begin with so if we had someone else who was less inclined to make errors to double check things it would make things much better.
