Make 1 week in game = 1 day irl
It takes way too long to get anywhere in this game..or maybe I'm missing something and it's already like this. In that case why do my classes say I can't access future lessons - for 4 days now

If 1 IG week lasted a day, that would mean your character would age up and leave Hogwarts in less than three months. There'd just be no time for any character development, and even with the current system, it can be tricky to keep track of making topics before it's too late in the IG year.
If you've already done all the available homework, maybe do a topic or work on your backstory :D
