There have been similar things like this, but they've all been declined because then someone could edit their message that had something that went against chat rules and that person could deny that they ever wrote it.
Especially if you take in consideration the time to give the warning and take screenshots, is ample time for a person to edit a messgae and then the person who gave the warning gets in trouble
I agree that this idea can be abused by rulebreakers. I don't see the utility of this rule as the user can always correct themselves in the next message.

Although this is a good idea, the chat often moves too fast.
