Owl back, no matter what.
When you apply for a job i think that leaders should owl back wether you get the job or not, because it's really annoying to wait untill you know for sure, you didn't get it. Also if you have plans to apply for another one, you don't know when you can apply, because you dont get a response.

I think this would only be a good idea if the leaders wouldn't be obligated to state why you have been rejected or the job ^^
I think this would be a good one, so you know not to wait anymore, but only if the person isn't obligated to tell you the reason why they rejected you :)
i disagree with not being obligated why they rejected , simply because if they so "no" and they dont give any reasons you dont know what was wrong and what you can do to improve yourself. it doesnt have to be an entire essay with multiple chapters ad sources from all over the internet. but just something as simple as "sorry, we have rejected you because you werent the best pick iin our opinion." because that shows them it was alright or "sorry, you didnt make the team because this (insert someting from applications) doesnt fit here" or tell them something was mssing.
it doesnt have tto be a long answer but it would be nice to at least have some insight on what went wrong. maybe even have something where it is. "this is the short answer but if you would like to know more, send a reply and we can go into details over your application." i understand the extra work but it would take away so much nerves form the people that apllied to the job. especially if they make a post with members wanted
I get this from the applicant's point of view, but think about the leader/whatever's point of view. Some applicants could send nasty replies and there are so many more reasons as to why someone could get rejected for a job, than just having an application that isn't the best. Not all of them should or can be shared. I'm not going into detail about the latter here, because this is not the place for that. But I can explain further on Skype if you wish. You've got me as a contact on there, so just shoot me a message ^^
I agree with both of you, would it just be easier to apply to the club and if you don't get the job it says sorry you have not been accepted into so and so club so you know you didn't get the job. No explanation necessary.
I think it needs to just be left to the person in the club. While some may just avoid saying it because they probably shouldn't be in the position, some of them don't say anything because they hang on to apps for when a spot opens up later. Though usually they tell you that before or when you apply.
I have noticed this tends to be done more by the ones I know are older IRL though. A lot of the younger people who get put in jobs just don't have a lot of experience and it shows sometimes.
This would make the hiring process so much longer and more tedious if each leader has to write out individualized responses for each application. Sometimes, positions get upwards of 20 applicants. You can always apply for another job whenever you wish, you don't have to wait for one to be accepted or rejected, and if you get two offers, you pick one. Another reason why this wouldn't work is sometimes, we keep past applications in mind if a position opens up in the future- maybe yours was great, but another was better. Having clear acception/rejection would pretty much put an end to this, which I don't think anyone, applicant or leader, would like very much!
Declined as this should be taken up with the Minister of Magic of the site.
There's a simple solution to this. Send a message to the head of the team and ask for feedback. I know when I didn't get AT I asked for feedback and they gave it. It'd be a long waste of time to give it out to everyone, so just ask <3
Not everyone has to give feedback by the way, it is the choice of the leader!
